    Is it true that Malayan Shrimps low in stock? That time i wanted to buy but the say must wait for 2 weeks

    Bought them from Biotope a week ago....can check with them.... BTW anyone knows where I can get blue shrimp? Went to Plantas Aquaticas today, no more liao....

    Why don't you try cherry shrimps.

    The reasons are that malayian shrimps are very sensitive to water condition. A slight change, they cannot take it.

    On the other hand, cherry shrimps are one of the most tolerable behind yamato shrimps.
    In addition, they multiple very fast. I bought 10 cherry shrimps before chinese new year. Now, there are plentiful all over my tank.

    Although, it is a painful initial investment but still i think it is worth it.

    Hi Chua,

    Not sure why I had the opposite experience, my malayan shrimps are doing well, have bought around 20 cherry shrimps the last 2 months...none survived....

    The colour is really nice after the shrimps have settled down in the tank.
