    Hi Bro,

My take is that u might be having insufficient photo period & co2 as well.

photo period means how long the light is on right? if that is the case then it can't be. i have my light on for 12 hours each day and i'm using the nurafix CO2 set.

    Hi Bro,

Then it is your co2 which is the case as did you measure your Ph/Kh to determine your co2 level?

Moreover, using Nutrafin tends to have inconsistent in co2 output.....

Dark green? If it is bubbling, then it's ok.

Is it your only tank? If so, it's unfortunate that you starts with such a small fish tank. Most people get a 1ft tank after they got more experienced. It's very difficult to control the parameters for such smal tank.

Riccia may turn to sinking forms at times. But not sure if this is the case in yours. The pic below shows normal Riccia on left and darker sinking Riccia at right:

Riccia is easy to grow, even temp up to 30C and Ph > 7, it still can grow well.

Lighting must be sufficient and Co2 also.

The easiest way is to get a new batch and see what happen to it. I can pass you some but you have to wait for 2 weeks because I just gave it to be friend. It grow so fast that I throw them away every 2 week otherwise it will block the lights as I let them float and my tank is not big.
