    Hi,
I started off keeping guppies and my tank was full of algae. Then I learnt about the biological filter and my tank now has an established filtration and plenty of plants. Its a mini eco system with snails and shrimps.

Once I bought sakura shrimps berried and placed them in my community tank, but after 2 weeks, all of them died..

One day as I was removing a small pump, I saw a shrimplet! Its the offspring of the sakura, but the mum has already gone.

I tried to move it to an isolated tank as I was afraid that it would get eaten up by my fishes.. but I couldn't catch it and couldn't find it after.. I think its eaten up..

After a week, I saw the shrimp let again, now its doubled in size! So amazing I think its the only
surviving shrimp baby even when mum is gone..

Now I have a few berried Malayan shrimps waiting for their new home to be cycled.. I still need to get some moss. If u have excess spiky moss or any other easy to grow moss, please sell them to me..

    Re: new in this hobby

Since you are new to this forum, I am giving you a warming for post chalking.

Secondly, refrain from using sms lingo in this forum. (An infraction is given for this)

Lastly, please be reminded that AQ doesn't allow the sales of shrimps.

    Thanks
    Nicholas

    Re: new in this hobby

Dear moderator, please give me an idea of how long is the infraction. I would like to post in the marketplace in order to trade for plants. I have not been successful in trying to buy moss from the hobbyist here so maybe trading will give me a better chance. My tank has been bare waiting for the mosses before I put my shrimplets in. Thank you. I have checked my post if I have any SMS lingo here. If I miss out again. Sorry.
