I bought this rain fall system as termed by Exo Terra earlier last September and the timer went haywire and will continuously mist till the entire reservior is empty. I have since gotten 2 units from 1-to-1 exchanges with Pet Mart (really appreciate their effort in assisting to solve the issue) but to my dismay, both replacement units also came with another other type of timer issues. The interval dial wasn't represented correctly and the mister will mist at random times on its own accord instead of the preset time intervals. I have since given up and wouldn't want to trouble Pet Mart any further as I believe it's most probably down to a manufacturer defect and of course, my own bad luck. I have sent an email to Hagen and will be keen to hear if they can help resolve the problem.

Anyone else facing the same issue? I absolutely like the Monsoon RS400 for its slick aesthetics, all-in-one system, plug and play etc. This though, is a very bad experience when I have only used the product for such a short length of time. I will continue using it and have figured to buy a Mist King timer and plug the RS400 with it so that it can mist according to the intervals and durations that I want.

And so i bought a Mist King timer. The RS400 is working flawlessly. Keeping my fingers crossed that nothing else will fail.
