anybody have any experience with this plant? and are there various types?
also, i was thinking of having gu jin cao and red tiger lotus in a 2 ft tank. will that be a little too much or too distracting as there will not be a main focus?

red lotus, its a tall plant...nice addition to the tank as background plant

Gu Jin chao, no chance to try yet

Nana, cannot plant in soil...confirm will rot and die off very fast

If you have enough lights, the tiger should stay low. Else it will rise to the top.

I think the red tiger lotus is easier. as long as the water is cold and its serves as a nice back plant.
