Yes, very nice. Not often we get so much white on a PRL
Nice PRL you got there, how long have you been keeping it? What soil are you using? thanks
Hi bro shrimpster,
Great shrimps you have there and thanks for sharing.
That tank was setup last December 2012, and the bee I put it there in January 2013.
What did you mix it with?
I think mix with taiwan PRL bee... either from monza or some other guy
Great, now you can call it "Shrimpster line". Hehehe
nice.... you give me some idea heh
Another update:
Nice collection and thanks for sharing.
My question is kinda relevant to this thread so I hope the TS doesn't mind if I hijack abit:
To the more veteran shrimpsters here, do you guys mix and crossbreed different lineages of PRL? The reason being to widen the gene pool, prevent inbreeding in order to create stronger PRLs. Will this work and are there any reasons why one should not do it? Thanks.
at the moment i mixed some of taiwan prl and pbl, while the crimson line i currently inbreed. some of my friends been trying to inbreed taiwan's prl and it seems the quality after 2 to 3 generations is not as good as the parents
for crimson line i wanna try the quality of the lineage itself and for the taiwan prl and pbl is to get better colors body and leg.
