i think i found my culprit, i think the yamato shrimps are eating all my moss as there doesn't seem to be any trace of moss left. can anyone of the sifu confirm this?

    Re: taiwan moss turing black

Some one is eating your moss for sure most probably Yamato shrimps coz Taiwan I have is much fleshier than the one in your picture. It looks as if someone is eating the new baby leaves from your moss and killing the old ones in the process.
Aquatic moss usually like flowing and cool water with a good source of light. Ferts are a good source of food but not necessary for moss. Moss in my shrimp tanks grow well without any ferts.

Based on the pictures, it seems that the moss is not doing well. May we have more info like temperature of water and lighting period and intensity?
Any co2 and ferts? What is the dosage for co2 and ferts?
In my opinion, the moss is not doing well the Yamato is helping you clear the dead material.
I am balding but i am still young!

    Re: taiwan moss turing black

I am keeping Taiwan moss in a shrimp tank with no CO2, no ferts, temp.26-27 degrees, 0.4 w/l.
My moss doesn't look like the one in the picture. The moss in the picture is dying slowly.
Something or someone is doing damage to the moss.
