Hi all bro,
Just some quick question, can i use a analog timer on LED light? Will it cause any damage to the light in long run? I notice when timer kicks in, the light will dim off and when it turns on, sometime the LED flickers for awhile then slowly stable.
Thanks

To my knowledge and my own experience of using it, so far none that I have notice it that will cause a fault related to it
All the LED lights that i have used so far never dim or flicker when switched on by timers. They switch on immediately at full light power, no flicker at all.
I think the dimming and flickering of your LED lights at initial start up could be due to some issue with the circuitry in that particular unit itself, maybe you should check with the shop or seller about it.
i have no led, but my t5 flickers 5 sec after my timer goes to off.
it depend on the quality of the timer also, mine was cheapo ikea one..

Yeah, i'm using the Soundtech digital timers for my lights, so far both T5 and LED lights don't exhibit any flicker... i guess the difference in timer system could be one of the reasons.
