    Hi all, I want to start a new tec chiller for my fish tanks. I hald 2 design in mind but i dun know which one is better. Hope any expert can comment. Just for sake of diy.

    Comments anyone?
    someone gave me this link, this guy made a chiller using 15V 15A peltier.
    But aluminum block is not a good choice for aquarium set up.

    You can see from my 2 design, tank water never go through the aluimium block. Either the tank water go through the titanium tube or chill water go through the titanium tube.I maybe using oil so there should not have any corrsion.

    Design A would be better, as long as the cooling liquid within has no contact with your aquarium water. I take it that you are using a typical PC coolant system. This way you keep the system separate from your aquarium water, so removal at any point of time for maintenance would be easy.

    use dolphin peltier based chiller, the model is mc something.

    and folks, refrain from sms lingo usage. else posts will start vanishing
