Nobody grows Rotala Singapore in Singapore? LOL!
I still have difficulty finding difference between these two. I know Rotala Singapore has smaller leaves than R Colorata but sometimes when ideal condition is met, the leaves of R Singapore is also bigger.
Let me know how do you identify one from the other.
Thanks in advance.

Perhaps they are the same, just different geographical source. Maybe local plant farmers just call rotala grown in hot sunny singapore weather as "Rotala Singapore" (difference in growth and color due to weather conditions?), i guess its just a trade name.
Case in point... i've recently spotted "Bucephalandra sp Singapore" at local LFS, when there is no mention of such a name online, the plant collector/seller probably just created his own taxonomy for it.
Good input.
I have also done some web search and Rotala Singapore is somehow a look alike of Rotala Colorata except it has smaller leaves.

Hi
Will like to know where can I get rotala?
Seaview doesn't seem to carry it.
By e way, any farms in singapore tat sell aquatic plants?
You can check at places like OTF, Polyart, East Ocean, Fishy Business, Green Chapter etc... they have plant display tanks with submerged pots of plants for sale, good chance of finding various types of rotala at such places.
