get a container, a rock, some moss and those plastic food wrapper, place the rock into the container, fill water till its half covers the rock/stone.. place the moss on top (make sure the moss is in contact to the water) till seal up the container with the plastic wrap.. the humidity in the container will keep the moss alive. you do not need to spray water on the moss

The "bonsai" setup mosses are terrestrial, not amphibious or aquatic mosses. Go to nurseries like those along Thomson Rd for these type of setups.

hello..... have you heard of aquatic bonsai? No? Duh!

no recommendations..... I don't grow bonsai.... but if you secure a good source of bonsai mosses, I am sure folks here will be deeply appreciative.

oh yes, I remember where I saw such mosses (sold in patches)..... Bangkok!
