Hi billy,
I think these are nice picture, but the colors seems muted. Is it the water or the strobes are too powerful?
Your other pictures in the other thread were much more colorful.
Cheers,
Some pictures I took under Hantu waters last weekend...
Comments welcome

I have dwarf cichlids in my tanks! Do you?
Did you do any level adjustments in Photoshop?
why I don't do garden hybrids and aquarium strains: natural species is a history of Nature, while hybrids are just the whims of Man.

Well, kinda lazy after the trip. Did a Auto level and image size, thats about all...
The visibility is kinda real bad. I need to blast my external strobe for the light to reach the subject.
Maybe I will try to edit further later... thanks for the comment thou...
Picture 1
Looks better?
i find the angel fish too tight... billy, if you cropped down from the original pic.. perharps u can try a slightly broader crop.. also the feather worm?
like the composition of the flat worm(2nd pic) find the pics dull... add saturation? or increase contrast?
i adjust the level and add USM

Yeah. Looks a lot better. Do you have a link for the source file for the second picture. Perhaps I'll have a go at it tonight.

Very Unfortunately, I accidently over written my original pic for that piece, you also damn heng... lol... I still had a back up copy in my SG PC. Maybe i pass it to you over weekend.
Don't borther Billy. I'll just try a quick adjustment on your existing picture.
Is this what it's suppose to look like? I don't dive, so I just "hamptum". Basically added the reds and yellows as these are the colors lost when you dive.
Anyway, it's just for fun. If you have to adjust every picture individually like that, it's no joke.

Very true, we normally have atleast 200 pics to choose from after every trip.... I have a 1 Gb CF card that is capable of holding 800 Hq pictures. I dont't shoot RAW because I felt I havent reached the standard yet.... still doing my trial and error..... so HQ seems to be the best...
Looks great on the pic you had edited...
