hi bro TBoss
I think it's a goby. But I don't know which kind.
Bro Stormhawk, where are you?

Hi experts. Need help in ID-ing the fishes in the images provided. I bought them at Clementi C328 and was told they are a kind of Killifish. However these greedy fishes started to grow very fast and now they are about 6cm (I bought them at around 2cm). And the bigger ones are quite territoral. So hopefully someone can enlighten me by telling me what fishes are these. (I got 4 of them). Sorry for the lousy quality as I took the photographs using my iPhone.
hi bro TBoss

Looks like Tateurndina Ocellicauda (aka peacock gudgeon/goby), they are cave spawners. Can grow up to 7cm in size.
I've kept them before, quite okay community fishes, but will hunt and eat shrimplets.
I think its a mogurnda cingulata, apparently it grows rather large.
lucasjiang is right... after checking the online photos it does look more like mogurnda cingulata too, similar family of fishes, but more aggressive and grows much larger.
I think I had found it too. Think the species I have in my tank is Mogurnda mogurnda. Thanks guys, for pointing me in the correct direction. Oh dear... I bought some semi monster fishes' babies without my researching.
Missed this. It's definitely not a killifish and the LFS that gave you that info probably doesn't know what it is to begin with
These are ambush predators and will spawn fairly easily if you give them good food and good water conditions. Definitely one of the Mogurnda, which species, not sure. A friend of mine spawned Mogurnda adspersa in Malaysia. Had several hundred fry, so be prepared if yours spawn haha.
Fish.. Simply Irresistable
Back to Killies... slowly.
