Cardinal with Gouarmi

Can cardinal tetra's comm tank with Gouarmi (small) ones?

That depends on the species of Gourami. If they are the typical Dwarf Gourami, Trichogaster lalius, then yes no problem. Tank ought to be deep enough so the Cardinals will remain in the bottom 2/3 of the tank. Upper 1/3 closest to the surface is where you will find your Gourami.

Yes. I have the dwarf gourami, but they seems interested in the tetras tail and fins. I have 3 gourami, 10 tetras n 6 cories in a 30cm nano tank.

Dwarf gouramis are rather aggressive fishes. I noticed that they like to chase and bite other fishes. All gouramis in general actually, unless the fishes are larger than it

You might have better luck with the smaller honey gourami or pygmy croaking gourami.

Yea, my 10 dwarf gouramis (male & female) are nipping the tails of my otos from behind.

Didn't work our housing them with tetras earlier too
