Maybe can provide more hiding places so that they'll hide themself safely when molting

Posting my setup for crayfish keeping.
Housed in a 1m tank along with feeder fish and ghost shrimps.
I bought 4 crays in April 2013. Now left with 3. 1 got eaten after molting by the other 3. Started with a 1 foot tank and 4 Chicken Essence bottles. In May, bought the 1m tank and migrated them over.
Now, they hide in the mountain, the ship and the castle. One of them likes to perch on top of the mast on the ship and nip at the fish swimming past. Amazing to see it crawl on the string to get to the top.

Thanks gyjd. The one that got eaten was when they were in a 1 foot tank. Now, the 3 are housed in a 1m tank with plenty of hiding places. I can hardly see them now unless I feed them or when they stalk the fish.
Do get a cover for your tank as the crays are great jumper if spooked....mine jumped through a 3inch square opening in the middle of the night and hide under my fridge in the kitchen
My tank was placed in the hall then...

I did. I especially bought a covered tank knowing that crays are very good escape artists. But my crays are happily hiding away in the holes at the castle, the mountain and the ship. Although the mountain almost reach the water level, I have never seen any of my crays climbing up that high. Also, the filter shown on the right makes the water current very fast on the surface, which makes it a little harder for them.
Below is the picture of my biggest cray. Lost a claw and two legs. Slowly growing back now.
Anyone can help me sex this cray?
Female

Yup, a female
Are females more aggressive? This cray is scaring the other two crays so much that they hide in the castle and the mountain. I hardly get to see the other two crays that are in the tank. This cray will be patrolling up and down and if the other crays come out, they get chased back into whatever hole they came out from.
She's just being territorial, nothing special about it.
