I'm quite confused here, hopefully someone can shed some light.
I read that pregnant shrimps tend to drop their eggs together with the shell which they molted, yet there are products such as Mosura Gravidas that claims to reduce molting problem as well as helping pregnant female shrimps pull through the gestation period.
So, should the female shrimp molt during pregnancy or should they not? Is it advisable to add products that promotes molting when there are pregnant shrimps in the tank?

Hi Alvin, not so much about force molting. my shrimps are a;ready pregnant, I'm just concerned with the well being of the shrimps as the product mentioned it 'helps in digestion, food nutrient absorption, metabolism and improves the overall feeding situation. Most importantly it helps juvenile shrimp to grow and adult shrimps to molt normally, significantly reduce molting problems'.
Moult normally does not mean force moulting.
which product do you mean?
normally i will not add if everything is well.

Mosura gravidas does help in aiding shrimps to molt if your shrimps aren't molting that frequent and develop "hard shell" problem. Don't know whether is the "hard shell" term correct.
Hi, actually I had a lot berried females more than 15 i used gravidas and vigor once a week no problem.
