    Hi,

A short and simple slide presentation done for a video assignment on Nature Photography. Images randomly picked from many of my slides film collection, taken from different countries, including Singapore, Malaysia, Australia and China.

Significant loss of tonal details and quality due to slide scanning and high compression.

Turn on audio and click here (Note: Big file size, about 5.7MB)

    Good stuff.

Too bad about the loss of tonal details and quality due to slide scanning and high compression.

What scanner did you use to covert your slides to digital images?

    Cheers,
I have dwarf cichlids in my tanks! Do you?

Thanks. Can't really recall. Scanned from a friend scanner about a year ago. I think HP photosmart - the cheapest slide scanner (though $800+) available in the market a year or two ago...

It would be nice to get a higher (4 or more) dynamic range slide scanner.
