    Planter,

    First, check on your CO2 and make sure it is within acceptable range. Do that by measuring your pH and KH. Read here for more info.

    Second, consider fertilising now. I'm sure some nutrients have depleted by now after 6 months. Read here to begin.

    Thanks for the advice, will get a ph test kit tomolo. will update the ph reading tomolo nite.

    Thanks for all the advise. My tank now turn out to be a nightmare. Any advise for rescaping my whole tank? will this help?

    My advice is to start off with lower lighting. It is much easier. Use 120W to 160W for a start. When you get the hand of things, then you pump up the lighting level.

    Thanks for all the advise. just to update, i have remove all my plants and bleach my gravel. Now its time to rescape..heehee

    That's quite a drastic action of bleaching. Remember to wash clean.

    BTW - in your tank info:

    Really? You could have tried some fertiliser at least with your high light and high-CO2 environment.
