How big is your tank?
Hi, anyone have any fast growing mid-ground stem plants to recommend as I want to replace my java ferns as they are attracting algae. I saw in another thread that Urban Aquaria recommend to have Hemianthus Micranthemoides aka HM. Any other recommendation? Thanks in advance.

How big is your tank?
I am balding but i am still young!
His tank is 3ft.
I would go with,
1. Pearl weed (hm)
2. Blyxia japonica
3. Dwarf sagi
4. Tiger lotus if you have high lights
5. Some penny worts

muakmuak: thanks haha!
Erctheanda: thanks for the suggestions, do you know whe to get the first 2 options? Does seaview sell them as my house is 15 mins away from there?
Last I saw, they don't have japonica but have pearl weed. But that was 2 weeks ago.

How about C328 for HM? Can't seem to find there.
Erctheanda: ok, maybe can go take a look this weekend. Some of the plants they don't label and I got no clue what it is.
muakmuak: great, will let you know again when nearing Saturday.
Itsai: Clementi is abit far for me but Pasir Ris, serangoon north or Yishun still ok with me.
Is always a challenge to hunt at C328. Don't know how you guys manage to do it. The stem plants in those tiny bags have no names hanging outside the shop.
For japonica and HM, go Pasir Ris ah pek shop. Fresh from the pond.
Thanks all for the suggestion!
