Saw a baby sturgeon on sale in LFS. Wondering if it is illegal in Singapore?
Yes it is, if i remember correctly its in CITES appendix 1 or 2, highly endangered in the wild and hence not allowed to be traded in Singapore. Anyway its hard to keep in Singapore climate, so not much point buying either. Needs cool water and grows to a large size, unless you can chill a large volume of water for it, dont think it will thrive here.

I think his tank has no chiller. Space will be a problem if he grows, need a pond.
confirm sturgeon as I recently watched geo channel with my son and there is a documentary about it.
