    Hi all,

Am new to this forum. Been keeping mainly plecos, loaches, and barbs etc for some time and hope I can learn more about planted tanks here. Simply love the serene of a planted tank...

    Re: Hello everyone!

I'm so sorry to say this, pleco, loach and barb does not belong to planted tank. currently I have a standard 3' planted tank with khuli loach and a female bristle nose, they keep uprooting my plants. been reading around that barbs chew on plants like goldfish too

Hi there, welcome to AQ! Hope you'll enjoy your time here.

As mentioned by FrozenDuck, do take note of what he said. However, if you plan to keep them together with your plants, do introduce them when your plants are rooted properly, or when the planted tank is mature.
