Need Advice On Crypto Balansae

Hi Everyone

It will be 2 month or so by end August since I planted my Crypto Balansae. I know it requires a lot of patience to grow this plant at the beginning. Till now its not even kicked in.

I have literally thrown everything at its substrate level....Iron tabs, Calcium tabs, Crypto Root Starter....yet nothing happens.....Even the Wendtiii and Lucian has kicked in and growing well.....Water column dosed with S7 weekly, E15 iron every two weeks (on top of stuffing into substrate for Balansae) and V30 every month...

All I have is very thin leaves less than 20cm tall.....

PH - 6.5
Temp - 26 to 27C

Lights was changed from MH to LEDs (2 x 120 watts) at 75% intensity for 8 hours...additional filter placed in for better water circulation last Sunday.....

The only thing I can think of currently is that I planted it at the back of the tank as a background plant and the substrate may be too thick for it to get to the base fertilizer....

Any Crypto Balansae growers out there spare me a few pointers?.....

i bought from c328 small and fresh
Just stick it in the soil shaded area and leave it. Initially some leaves melt on and off till i started dosing some iron ferts.

Aquasoil before 2 years of age possibly little need for additional nutrients.

All plants have a tendency to survive - so i guess to overdose or provide over-attention may not be required. Leaves now reach top of tank slowly but surely multiplying

Thanks MKT...the dormancy of the Balansae is really hair ripping ...
