    Hi guys,

I have a low-tech 1-foot tank and I am thinking of introducing a echinodorus plant. Any suggestions for a species that is compact and small, with red-green leaves? Please also let me know where I can get them and any care tips.

I saw E Hadi Red Pearl at a LFS, small and cute. Red rounds leaves and only around 8cm all, but I'm not sure how tall it can get. It was also quite expensive...

If your tank is a 1 footer, Echinodorus may not be a good option for you. I am sure that Echinodorus Hadi Red Pearl is a cross breed and like all Echinodorus they do get up to a size that may end up occupying most of your tank.
