Is Blyxa Japonica Still In Play?

Hi everyone

Is Blyxa Japonica still in play among aqua scapers? Tried looking for this stemmed plant but it seems that they are no where to be found?



Love this stemmed plant because it takes quite a long time to grow upwards.... Anyone who seen this submersed form please point me the way.....

You can check at OTF too, i bought some from there yesterday, they are in the plant display tank with Co2, in red plastic pots.

Blyxxa japonica is one of my favorite plants for mid-ground. Least maintenance and grow up to a lush green bunch.
Looks like the top leaves of a pineapple fruit.

@Felix, can share how do I replant them? They are growing quite tall after 1 month (abt 6" now). I rather they grow to be dense than tall.

@Felix.....thank but perhaps not at the moment....trying to save my tank from an apparent disaster... Not easy to save it if I have two aquatic ignorant at home who unanimously decides between themselves to do things without consulting with me.....
