I saw them at C328 last weekend. There are a few pots near the casher.

East Ocean
downoi?? I am not sure if they could be considered carpet plant... some of mine have grown upwards almost 4 inches tall!
They are nice to be mid ground plants
Oh wow. They are so commonly found? I must have been blind. Haha.
Anyway I read that they can be used as carpet as they grow a max of 5 cm under high light.
Maybe these plants sell like hot cakes. Once arrived at LFS, all being grabbed in a few hours.
What is the price like? Is it still rare?

hey bennyc, it is not rare, and not expensive, no more than a few bucks for a a cluster of 3 to 4 plantlets.
but i am just having really bad luck trying to find it! went to all of the above suggested c328, seaview and east ocean, all don't have...
You may want to go to y618 or c328 to place your order.
C328 can place order? The auntie seems so busy and I also feel abit embarrassed to trouble her.
Finally got it at east ocean. Shop guy was super helpful and knowledgeable. Thanks!!!
East ocean ones are from anubias?

Hey Ben, I don't get your question?
Anyway bros, I have planted the Downois. I buried them quite deep because it keeps floating. I also thought that deeper might be good (just like the case for other carpet plants like glosso and Jap HG where deeper is better). The crown is partially buried, but most of the soil is still above the substrate. Will this be ok?
try to keep the leaves above the substrate.
you may encounter melting initially, especially for the leaves which are touching or near the substrate but once it has gotten used to the environment , it should do well, providing that all other parameters are ideal.
Oh... I trying to ask if the ones you bought are from the brand "anubias" (which east ocean carries, in green packing) or no brand.

No brand
Actually you should plucked the bottom few leaves so that the stem is long enough to be inserted into the soil and not hinder you while you are planting. Try to plant only the roots (white portion) into the soil only. Gentle remove your tweezer and if need be use your finger to press lightly on its crown to make sure it is rooted and no tendency to float up. If you planted it too deep, it will eventually melt without you knowing it.
