    Hello all.

I have cardinal & black tetras, rummy nose and two clown loaches in my tank. Will be going away for about 6 - 7 days in Sept. Wondering if the fishes can survive without being fed for so long?

    Would appreciate any comments.

    Thanks in advance.

in theory they can live for a week without food.. just make sure on the day u are going, feed them first.
I have done this before for a week and my fishes aren't dead..
but i realised that my fish had eaten the duckweed on the surface and their sh*t is green in color.. hope this helps..
    Cheers,

Yeah, they'll survive. You might want to feed them more then usual on the few days before the trip. You can also get slow release fish food at a well stocked LFS.
Vincent - AQ is for everyone, but not for 'u' and 'mi'.
Why use punctuation? See what a difference it makes:
A woman, without her man, is nothing.
A woman: without her, man is nothing.

Thanks. Good to know that I can go away knowing that my fishes will be alright when I come back.

    Regards!

Is it safe to use those 'Weekend food' that looked like a lump of chalk? I bought one many years ago but never dare to try.
