    Hi guys,

just revamped my tank this afternoon. I have attached some photos for your viewing pleasure. But, something seemed to be missing in there. What would it be?

    i hope these are better!

Definitely better... Anyway, there are fast progress... the front part of the tank is growing tall. I am intending to trim those regularly to make carpet.

    Comments and advice please!

    Thank you!

Reminds me of an amazonian river-like biotope... very nice.

Those large leaves would really make for excellent grazing and resting surfaces for otocinclus and dwarf corydoras.

Interesting...I cannot imagine how your tank is going to look like 6 months in.

I am curious about your tank dimension..

Hi, just my humble piece of opinion.

I feel that for your scape, the left and the right seemed 'disconnected'. Meaning its like 2 different stories in one storybook.

I also not sure how to explain this feeling but perhaps you can try adding something in the middle to link up the left bushes and the right bushes? Or try instead of have 2 separate bushes on the left and right, try overlapping the 2 bushes so that it seems like a smooth transition.

Again it just my humble 1 cent worth. Thanks.

lionelckg bro... I share your sentiments. But I can't seemed to find the right piece of element to add it in.. I was thinking probably when the foregrounds mature, the whole set up will blend into each other.. now, it looks kinda scarce.

A little bit of both...you picture somehow does not feel like a 120x60x60. It seems compressed. Could you upload a standard Picture?

Oh well... haha. Erm, this is the best I can do... because it was taken with a phone camera and because of the limited space in my house, this is the best i could do.

    Care to share some tips?

4x2x2? Wow, that just re-adjusted my perception of scale in your tank... the leaves on the left side plants must be really huge! Are they one of those larger species of anubias?

Re: Something is missing in here...

Lot of helpful friends here would give their input but the scale of tank is important.

Actual scale of the picture is important.

Re: Something is missing in here...

a noob opinion: can remove the right part, replace with similar dw but smaller, maybe with ferns or nana.
the bg can put long grass like plany, or stems can grow past the two dw until mid front and keep it trimmed.

    btw looked like 1.5ft tall.
    if the length is 4ft.
