    Hi! I'm new here. Got a question about these bright red worms (btrighter than the colour of tubifex worms), found clinging to plant roots when I removed the plants from the small baskets they come in. When I try to pull them, they can hold very tightly to the root and stretch like a rubber band. Are they leeches? How often do you see these in the plants you buy? What happens if they went into the tanks? Rgds

    Those are most likely either plant or fish leeches. Remove them is best.

    could be just blood worms , often see it in hc mats
