    Hi everyone,

I bought 2 plants from c328. Need help to identify them so that I can better care for them. I know the fissidens look alike is call vietnam fissidens, but what's the actual name for it? How about the bright green spiky?

    Thanks.

anyone keep this plant before? Is it even an aquatic plant??? It's still looking strong in my tank despite low light, no co2 and fertilizers.

I have, no great success stories here. its a marsh, riverside plant. It does well in wet, marshy soil above ground, with occasional flooding. Ideal for vivariums or palaudriums.

Underwater, if the water is not too deep and CO2 is abundant, perhaps it will do well and send out flowers and side shoots!
I am balding but i am still young!

The shoots come out like spring onions. The short fine leaves will slowly wither

notice the 3 long green sticks that is close to the cabomba near to the left of my tank, those are the shoots that is growing out from my Cyperus Haspan. The nice light green leaves that attracted you to purchase them, do not exist anymore. Like what bennyc mentioned, mine was half-withered and half covered by mu Java moss. I tied it to my driftwood from day 1. It grew nice long roots attaching itself to my driftwood. Today, I have got 3 long shoots growing out of it, of which one of them is already above water level. One more young shoot growing out of it. It is still there alive and kicking, I just want to see what will happen next, new leaves? Or something else that might surprise me.

Add CO2 and you might see them:

    And more:

But once they start to grow the cuckoo shoots, they stopped pearling. But only when you cut the shoots, pearling occur at the tip of the cut shoots again. Hahaha...

This is so fun, playing with the plants. Think I am going a little gaga at this hour...
