The colour looks like the usual wild brown discus. By the way the fish you get seem to be rather stunted. The eyes are rather big in comparison to the body and the fish is not really rounded in shape and tall, but is rather long like a uaru.

What can i do about it?
Its kept in a 100g tank and eats like crazy.. What is the possible reason of it being stun?
All of them will come up and eagerly eat when feeding time.. They are on fbw and hikari micro pallet at the moment due to their small mouth.. Will upload a feeding video tonight..
How small are they? I know some discus feed beef heart as its quite high in protein. However the water will get dirty very quickly, which necessitates more water changes.
Hi , it is a normal brown discus.
Does not look good, the fins are closed and fish is a bit stunted.
Is it a new purchased? if it is, maybe not used to the environment yet.
Yea.. Hmm.. Its ard been in for around 2 weeks.. Any tips on how to make them feel at home? From what i know, lack of tank space for fishes to grow stuns them but i have more than enuf space for them.. What are the other possibility? Any bros here can advise?
They are around 2-2.5 inches at 2 month plus.. Got from a bro who says itd growing very slow..
grow very slowly you still buy?? stunted fish cannot grow or grow very slowly...
100 gallon is huge, its definitely enough. Anyway for most juvenile discus its more of feeding enough high protein food than space to prevent stunted growth. Most discus keepers grow out fry in 2 feet tanks, so 100g is not a problem.
Anyway you can try feeding more often, possibly 3 times a day. Feed more high protein food, you can try hikari discus bio gold, about 50% protein. like I said in my previous post, most discus keepers feed beef heart. You can try too, but in small amounts. This is because yours is a planted tank so it will be hard to siphon out the excess, as opposed to in a bare bottom tank which most discus are kept in.
Thanks for the advise bro.. Might move them to a bare tank untill they are stable.. Will update in a couple of weeks time..
Ok, actually you might not have to move them. Just keep up with the feedings, ensure they are full and maintain water quality. In a few weeks hopefully they will look better.
