Resolution seems simple right bro ?
Option 1 - remove the aggressive one
Alternatively......
Option 2 - let them continue and may the fittest survive
Ok so I had 5 long finned danios and a short fin (by accident). Yesterday I came home to only four leopards. 3 long and the short fin. My wife left for work this morning and saw the short fin harassing the long fins. What should I do she couldn't catch him and was almost late for work trying. Please help.....

Option 2: Muahahahahahaha!!!!........
No lol I took him out and took him back to the store. The lady told me she put him in the "Crazy tank". She then immediately took him back out and put him by himself because he was attacking the other crazy fish. Then he jumped into the tank next to that one where he started tormenting some oscars 15 times his size..........
He was INSANE but yeah he is by himself now.
good move....
Danio's can be hyper-active and nipping the fins of others often enough in a community tank, that has been my experience when you purchase a "school" of them.
These days, I try to avoid danio's though those with long fins are really graceful dashing from end to end of a tank.
long finned danios are prone to attacks by barbs
btw, are you sure that you bought the danios?

Yeah I bought the danios. They were in a quarantine tank before moving them to the larger tank. I think I figured out why it was so aggressive. I haven't got to post it yet but the quarantine tank now has a large cloud of baby danio fry in it. I'm not sure how to care for fish that small but I have been using a boiled egg yoke solution to feed them.
congratulations! please remember to do water change. you will do fine! keep the post coming

..... I want to do a water change...... But I'm worried about sucking them up in the process....
Put a piece of cloth over the suction and you will be good to go
