    Not sure if this is the right place to post, I'm looking for a algae eater that is black with tiny blue spots. I used to have it long ago but forgotten whats the name, can any kind soul help me identify the name?

    I went to google that, its not the fish I'm looking for. The one I'm referring to is a kind of sucker fish. But thanks for the effort.

    Agree with BennyC, sounds like L183 starlight bristlenose pleco.

    L183 is the right one, thank you guys for helping, any ideas on where to get them locally now? Don't see them around for a while.

    Green chapter used to have, but seem's they are out of stock. Bought 2 pcs from them in the past, quite fun!

    I would like to get one too,but it seems most LFS sell L181(peppermint Pleco) as L183 (starlight Pleco). You never know until they grow older.

    Check their web , under live stock, pleco section. THere's photo there, it said L183

    Before you go down to GC to get your L183, please call the store and make an enquiry regarding availability. The last time I was there I did not see any, but do call first. They might have new stock in.

    I spoke to Roland before, he says that you can go down to shop and put your name in waiting list, when stock comes in,they will inform you
