Not really sure what the name of the loach is..But looks to me that I would start to focus more on loaches from now..Skill still way below par. Enjoy then

    Hi wynx,

The second picture is by far the best of the lot in my opinion.

The last picture could do with better cropping since composition is restricted by the forground being the lower portion of the glass tank.

As for the ID of the fish, perhaps Choy can shed some light?

Keep shooting. You'll get better with each session. And thanks for sharing.

    Cheers,
I have dwarf cichlids in my tanks! Do you?

not a Botia, I think is a Schistura but species indeterminate (if it is from Eco).

Yup, the 3rd and 4th Pics are the same fishes. Budak got them for me from Eco Culture.

BTW, I am stopping my shoot until I get my flash fixed. The burnt mark is enlarging...

where is the burnt mark? how did you manage to do that man? I don't seem to have such a problem with my 550EX, but then I don't always have a full-force blast.

seems to be a common problem with 500DG.

It's a nemacheiline loach, either Nemacheilus or Schistura. Species, as Choy has said is indeterminate. Get a full-body length shot and show it to Bagrus dude for ID at Petfrd. He knows more about loaches than anyone else. Nice pictures nonetheless.

I think it looks like a schistura multifasciata.
