From what I read, it seems that almost all mosses can be grown emerged. Do you have any experience growing fissiden in a water featured wall that is similar to the attached picture, relying on indirect sunlight in ambient temperature & humility?

Unfortunately I only managed to grow fissiden fontanus by accident when I was trying out dsm. To my knowledge, fissiden is a form of moss so it should be the same as moss for it to thrive.
Based on the picture, there are crevices in the wall, if there is a water drip system, I think that the crevices might be ideal for moss... And algae.
With uneven wall features comes the challenge of evening out the water distribution, so probably a point for you to note. Some wall features make use of misting systems to keep it cool and moist.
Looks to me like you have a great project in the making!

Have you consider singapore moss, look just like any moss, steady available at our carpark, void deck etc. Just have to hunt for it!
