Hi, thanks for the reply. Haha, too late. I threw the old media away already because I didn't know what happened so I dont dare to recycle it. This is the first time I had this problem.

What do you mean that my bio media will clog my media? Pls tell me more. This is my setup. I have an external pump and 2 canisters. They are all ehiem. The water intake will pump through the external pump then go into the canister with wool and bio pellets then go into the canister with bio media (seachem matrix and biohome) then finally go into the chiller then back into the tank.

Your canister impeller running anot?
if all running, not good for canister impeller, external pump enough.

bio media just rinse and shake in tank water, if and only when water flow is affected.
in the case of why, if their clogged means water cannot pass thru "tio bo"?

some of us only clean as and when flow rate is affected. if you like crystal clear water. regular replacement of white filter wool in 1st canister is needed.

for the clouding issue, most likely new tank syndrome mini edition. is the flow rate strong on the outflow?
