    I have an old tank of 6 yr & am quite sure my substrate has been depleted of its nutrient. What's the best way to replenish it without doing a complete refurbishing?

    using stick fert.
    if not you can try mixing it with fertilising substrate and enhance it by dosing with liq. fertilisers.
