    Hello saturn,

They will reach 5-6 inches in 1-2 years, depending on how often/much you feed them, and tank size (i.e. space to grow). But they will snack on your plants and fish. At least my RES did.
Nice set up, always wanted something like that for a 3ft.

Nice video, haha, I've reared them for years! Now I have two huge golden thread turtles, have enough of turtles haha.
I really like your set up (land+water, turtles+fish), simple and easy to maintain. I've gone and made mine high tech and now i'm quite afraid of the high maintenance..

    Re: Hello People!

Can anybody tell me what breed of lobster is this that I am currently feeding?
It has molted the 2nd time and has thus became quite big...
Sad thing happened 2 days ago, this guy ate my baby terrapin!! Found bits and pieces of shell when I came back from work!
Feeling damn sad and angry...(ok my fault for putting this guy in the tank tgt with the terrapins)..I decided to take him out...removed everything from the tank as there were lots of driftwoods, plants and turtle banks and this guy kept escaping and hiding...

    Re: Hello People!

My entire tank was very murky and it took a long time for the water to clear up

.....den started to rebuild my tank again...spent almost 5 hrs doing it...also bot another terrapin (have 2 now by the name of Terra and Terror)

    Re: Hello People!

Sad to hear terrapin got eaten. Why not get the mini crayfish instead then?
Also the set up is very nice, but if your terrapins are in this tank maybe you should not let them have a path to the edge of the tank.. Haha. Unless the vine is too small for them to climb

    Re: Hello People!

Hi Krakenwagen, I am intending to get the Mexican dwarf crayfish but will keep in a separate tank..
No worries, the vine is small and is elevated from the tank, therefore my terrapins will not be able to climb

It seems like 2 of my small Monos are bullying Archer...how to handle such aggression?
Also, can anybody advise what to feed for Archer besides insects? Do they eat pellets?

I have bought frozen bloodworm for my Archer...in fact all fishes and terrapins eat bloodworms..they were all like snatching here and there when I threw the cube into the water..

From what I see, it's a female red claw Cray. The name red claw comes from the males claw which consist of red on the outer side of the claw
