    Hi all,

I just propagated my E. cinereum for the first time and it was really cool. I did a little photo documentation of it. Thanks for looking!

    Hi,

I had 3 times to plant this plant, but every time it melted. How you keep it so healthy and what is the condition this plant needs ?

    My tank parameters :
    - 6' x 2' x 2'
    - chiller - 25 deg c
    - 3 x 150w MH
    - dosing Dr Mallick individual pure form , K2SO4, K2PO4, MGSO4, and trace
    - base fertilizer JBJ AquaPlus 2" mixed + 2" gravel on top
    - CO2 30+ppm
    - dKH - 5
    - PH - 6.5-6.8
    - NO3 - 15ppm
    - Calcium from coral sand

I got mine in the U.S....originally from Oriental Aquarium. It is a pretty short plant and if you look around you should be able to find it in Spore. I am using "redsea florabase" for substrate but if you can get your hands on some ADA aquasoil it should do great in that! I keep the KH low @ about 2 and the pH acidic. It needs root ferts. to do well, and other then that it is pretty easy to grow. Also, in my experience it is not a great shipper.

    Hi there,

It is indeed a nice plant. Bought one from Petmart at S$4. Other than this I saw a similar plant with a longer leaf. Anyone have any ideas wat's the name of it??

Anyone has such a small Cinereum that never grow big? I would like very much to buy that...can PM me for the $$$

Thanks very much, my tank is very small and can't afford to house big cinereum. I bought 2 in the past 2 years as small Cinereum, now they all turn up 20cm huge...and my tank is now super crowded.
