Yup, the back is the common japanese moss ball and I'm trying to make a Java Moss pin pong ball. For the fun of it, soon I will be growing a moss tree, i'm sinking the wood now, will be looking for some moss/plants to create the tree effect.

Eric, bigger tank not an option for me, I totally no space to fit already.
@aj, i'm using japanese composite soil. It's not plant specific but it had served my plants well.

Decided to do a rescape today. Spent the whole day transfering livestock out and replanting the plants.

@Eric, the java moss on pin pong grew but wasn't nice as it don't root too well so I rewrap it, hopefully it will be better this time.

@Kiang, haha... No space now, shall wait for my new house. Considering how big a tank to get. Haha...
