Agree with Eric. The centre plants are not true aquatic plants. They will probably rot after a week or 2.

Yup, I heard about that from GC too, I'm still looking for a replacement. I was thinking I can keep the wood and replace the plant but couldn't find anything that have the same effect and will do well in a low tech tank like mine.
Looks very nice, I will try hunting for it in LFS. Thought I saw it somewhere but cannot remember where. Thanks!
I think that an aquarium near Sago Lane has a wide variety. You could try checking it out!
I will try there. I saw it at a LFS in pet street at Seragoon North today, he selling $9 a stalk. Is that normal? Don't remember it being so expensive.
the center plant look like malayan fern.

You may just be right, it looks very close to the pictures in the link you place and what I googled. I just hope they are, at least then the chances of them rotting away is lower.
Those are definitely not aquatic.

I just used water wisteria to replace them on Sunday. Let's see if they will grow and look good. Thanks for the introduction too. I will try them if the wisteria failed.

Change scape update day 1 look ma, then Update again when the wisteria takes over his tank. Lol
I am balding but i am still young!
A small update, the water wisteria are growing fast and the roots are extending itself over the driftwood reaching for the soil.
Going to be trimming them soon, they are begining to overcast the bottom plants blocking their light.
I like the overgrown look, very natural and soothing
Thank you erwinx. It's a little forest.
Just did some water wisteria triming but really don't see the difference. (Before After attached) Haha... Really thinking to add more different plant species in.
