    hello guys, i'm new and i have this shrimp. is this ghost/glass shrimp? Its abit blueish in colour and have blue stripes around the head area, cant find any matching or similar picture and info. thanks a million! 1451392_10151781303851709_609009119_n.jpg

    That should be Macrobrachium lanchesteri.

    Yes it's a ghost shrimp (Macrobrachium sp.), more commonly sold as feeders for predatory fish. Depending on the species, some can grow quite large and end up preying on fishes and other shrimps. I wouldn't recommend putting them together with other shrimps except for large yamatos.
    Small is beautiful.

    I don't think it'll grow much bigger than it is right now but I could be wrong

    How big is it currently? I think max size should be about 3 inches.

    yea, its about 2inches plus 3 already.
