Need help ID plant and how to grow

Hi Guys,

Need help to ID the plant in the photo.

I tried to plant it but the leaves came off one by one.

Is there any requirement to grow them?

I don't think its aquatic by nature. its meant to be planted in a humid environment like in a terrarium or vivarium. above water.

I see, the aquarium shop uncle say can plant it in fresh water without CO2.

It is definitely not an aquatic plant.

Too bad, I quite like it. Is that any aquatic plant similar which has the same tall fin-like shape?

can look at Dwarf Sagittaria (Sagittaria subulata) or valisnera.

Another way is to goto tropica website and check out the plants!

It is probably a dracaena (Dracaena marginata) which at least at most of the pet stores around me are sold as aquatics, though they will eventually rot from being submerged for too long. I usually keep mine underwater til they start to deteriorate then move them into a pot as a house plant.
