Females can be found at places like C328, Polyart in the western part. For C328 the bettas are usually in a bucket along the right side of the shop. If you want a "higher-grade" female then look at the rack area with all the fancy ones.
I am looking for colorful female betta for my community fish tank. It must not be an aggressive type though I know some female betta can be quite territorial. Currently I have one dark blue and one not so attractive female pieces in my biotope tank and these gals are very very friendly to themselves and to other fishes. I am looking for more attractive kind - preferably red color - to live in harmony with my existing pieces. Anyone know where I can try my luck?

I saw your massive female bettas in other thread, they look awesome but I think most of them look like the other "light color" piece shown in my photo. Do you have something more dark red in color? I would have grab a dozen of those if I have new tank...haha.
Noon, I went to petmart and saw new arrival of many nice dark color female betta. Bought this baby purple betta. She is still trying to cope with her new enviornment but hungry all the time.

I went down to get the red female today, worried they run out. Are your female betta the same dark color? Luckily they get along quite well. Female bettas (non agressive colorful type) can made a rainbow out of a community fish tank.those massive female bettas (fries/juvies) have mostly males..

Very nice looking tank.. i have had issues with white sand as very difficult to keep it clean!
also, is the hygrophilla pinatifida in the background?
White sand has it own charm, don't really need to clean them if you have filter. The hygrophilla pinatifida is a new purchase, am trying it out to see if it grow well in my low tech tank.No not all.. lets talk offline pls.. otherwise this thread will become a marketplace thread.. :P

You can try Yun Feng at Pasir Ris farmway1. So many betta for u to choose from! Just when there last weekend and was amazed!

I have a few spawns that would have a few females to spare... I am happy to give it away knowing they are going to biotope tanks, one or two show quality female would compliment yr lovely tank. PM me...
