    Hi All,

I have a mature Christmas moss wall for almost 6months. But about 2 months ago, I have shift it to a new cycled tank. And recently the moss are getting in poor health, the fonds are turning brown gradually. I have check that temp is constant 26-27 degree celsius, the tank is low in nitrate, KH is 8, Ph is 7.2, Co2 is 1.5p/s, photo period is 10hrs. I wonder what's wrong in here, is the Co2 too little?

I'll suggest the following routine for you.

Remove all dead leaves and algae
Clean filter if flow rate slows down
    Do 50%-70% water changes weekly
Add 1/8 tsp of KNO3 after the water change
Add 1-2 rice grain of KH2PO4 after the water change
Add 3-4 ml of Lushgro micros or TMG after the water change
Add more CO2 and maintain the pH at 6.9-7.0 during the entire photoperiod for the KH of 8 or 20-30ppm. Check the am and pm readings to make sure it is good. Do the checks for a couple of days to test for consistency of the CO2 setup. (You need to be critical about it before the addition of nutrients or else things would not work well.)

Hey...that's exactly what is happening to me. So, the moss are turning brown because of lack of fert? or bad water quality? or lack of light? I have recently moved to a bigger tank and it appears that my lights are not enough, cos it is a deeper tank. But moss should do well with low light requirements right? Ferts wise, I am dosing the correct amount based on the instructions of the label....Can't be that water is bad, cos my shrimps are still doing ok. CO2 should be ok, still maintaining the same bubble count from the smaller tank. Temp wise, I am ok, cos running a chiller. Dunno what's wrong.
