folks,
AquaticQuotient has been ramsacked by those lamer bots. I got a few spam which includes one from Simon <-administrator.
Apparently, the bot search email address from "a href" tag. The member list would have revealed all our email addresses.
*sob sob*

There is a easy mod to prevent such from happening, in your memberlist.php modify it such a way that only login user can list the member list.
At the start session redirect anonymous user to login page.

Well, thats quite easy actually.
Before launching the attack web-bot, they just need an acct, login then run the web-bot. This technology of "stealing info" webpage has been around at least for 3 years. So session login is not a fool-proofed plan too.
Just crack a Cold Fusion program and do some programming will enable you to steal information such as DNS Listing, Weather Information, stock indices, etc. and store in a database for regular listing. So if the program has been scheduled to run regularly, u'd find it hard to avoid such attack.
Fortunately, last 1 week or so, I am not getting anymore message from address associating with aquaticquotient domain.
