I like this nice and wild feel. Great job!
But the stem plants seems not to do well, maybe remove them and shift the foreground backward.

Heatlhy tank!
Seems like the chain swords in the foreground are growing too high. Agree with Lorba that you should shift them backwards. The E.Rubin (?) in the foreground left can also be shifted to the centre back to get more light. Plant some of the chain swords in its place.
Can use E.tenellus for the new foreground.
BTW - what is the Echinodorus species in the left background? E."Osiris"?

Looks more like E.latifolius because E.quadricostatus seem to have broader leaves. See my tank at http://www.ntu.edu.sg/home/kfloh/mytank.htm#tank3a for comparison. The 2 plants are side by side in the front.
See http://www.echinodorus-online.de for Echinodorus latifolius and Echinodorus quadricostatus

i dont know why my stem plants dont do well. The tanks lighting is good. It's a 2.5 feet tank with 2 x 18 watts arcadia freshwater lamps, 1 x 18 watts NEC llamp and 1x 36 watts phillips 865 plc.( all tubes are around 6 moths old) The ferts are Sera floradepot, JBL 7 balls, AZOO laterite balls and Easylife prophyto liquid. It runs on a pressurized co2 system n according to the sera test kit, the levels are fine (greenish to slightly yellow). Since the trates are very low, i tried adding Nutrafin NPK but it doesnt seem to help. The rooted plants are fine but not the stems..why?
The foreground plant might not be echinodorus of anykind, it was sold to my as dwarf sag n ive have grown it emersed. It has little white flowers which makes me suspect is a sag not an echi. The background sword was sold to me as an emersed grown Echi. Rose which was hard to identify but now it looks more like an Osiris. What foreground plant is suitable for this tank?I find tennellus too dark coloured, im looking for something brighter but I have no lluck with glosso, riccia is too much of a chore.
whoops... upon closer inspection of the flowers..... it's E.latifolius
The tank looks good but I do feel that there is a lack of depth.
There is only foreground and background but nothing in between. Maybe also because your foreground plant is already quite tall (close to 1/2 the height of the tank).
