I am suspecting that those blue shrimps are just normal malayan shrimp which have turned blue because of either the diet or the water conditions.

I ever have batches of malayans that comes in different colours including blue.

Me too, had 1 white is pearl white in color and another orange *live one, not the kind of orange color you see on dead shrimps*

Previously bought some blue shrimps too, occassionally I still see one of them (still blue color) in my tank, has been around 1month+ already.

what I previously bought as blue shrimp is different from malayan. malayan have small eggs, blue shrimp have huge eggs.
why I don't do garden hybrids and aquarium strains: natural species is a history of Nature, while hybrids are just the whims of Man.
