It was my first time trying to do a nano tank low tech planted.. so I went on to get my tank measuring 23 by 20 by 25 cm which is a 10 litre tank... also a clip on led light consist of 5 bulb and each bulb at 5watt...

This is the picture of my tank and light...

Bought some bogwood in the noon awhile ago... was quite a big piece and it can't enter the tank so I had to crack my Head and DIY and saw the bogwood to the size I want and this is what I end up with.

    ..

This is 2 different hardscape I had came up with those loose bogwood I had saw...

Below the bogwood I will add lava rock to mimic rocks around the root area...

All advice and comment are Welcome to help me improve...

The first hardscape looks better. What is your overall concept? Zen, biotope, heavily planted. Types of Fauna in mind?

5 bulb and each bulb is 5w? means total 25 watt for this nano tank? the growth is going to be explosive with the huge amount of light!

I also prefers the first hardscape. The substrate looks too big for this size of aquarium. If budget allows maybe you can try ada Amazonia powder type.

You may want to trim the java fern a little - especially those that bended against the wall.

Agreed that the plants are a little big. You can try anubias nana petite as well as narrow leaf java.
