    hi, just a questions about the UP Brand reactor (the one with the bio ball)....currently i'm using the model 402 (with 4 bio balls), but i realise that this model are more suitable for 2.5 ft tank upto 4 ft tank.

    There's another model 403 (with 5 bio balls), more for 4ft tank and above.

    What's the difference??...my tank sizes are 4ft x 2ft x 2ft, and i'm using the Eheim 2228 filter...should i change it to the model 403??..

    And, do i need to throttle down the output of my filter??...and let it go on a full blast & attached a rainbar to the outlet of the reactor??

    IMO, unless the size of the reactor is diff.. wouldnt be too much a diff, the additional of another bioball or a slightly longer cylinder will give u a better dissolve rate
