Adding a fish will help control them. Another solution is something called vermex. It's a small blue white container with a dense white solution... Be careful not to overdose...
Can also look at planaria away or no planaria.
Okay cause Ive been ignored in last post in shrimp keep dying I can't really spent 24 hours in google .com to find a cure as its quite urgent to know how to solve and what to get.
Tank light planted 2 moss ball, soil type 1kg of ana. Water fall Filter big power hooked to baby fish air pump filter. As tank size about 10g and Cause I was lucky to get a bag filled with mini shrimps .. Shrimps bee from 10 to 0 (I was lucky to get 10 for a price of 1), dark green 13 to 1 and cherry shrimp 20 h 6.. So help me. I dunno what to do...
Problem unknown white mini wringling creatures. That look like worms that comes from soil. Soil been thoroughly wash many times before adding.
Question how to permently get rid of them? Cause even if I were to change the water they will come back after 2 days. Does adding a Otto helps? Or adding a fish helps? Or do I need to get something that can help? Else if I were to permently remove soil what other can I use as gravel?

Detritus worm. They are normally introduced to your tank thru plants or water from LFS or other sources.
I once had this outbreak and I changed my soil completely.
As for your shrimps. Please share with us your PH,Temp and have you cycled your tank?
Recent studies shows that putting recent studies in your statement have a higher percentage of trust people put into your recent studies. What?
detritus worm.. unavoidable and usually cause of over feeding.. or left over in tanks not removed..
from experience u can reduce them but not remove them.. and you shudnt wash your soil
PH is at 6.8.
Soil not say wash but cause I kip getting muddy water took bout 3 days of changing water to get it clear.. I don't think I over feed thou cause I normally put one small alge food tap.
What soil is best? Seriously cause this the sec time I change soil first round was due to same but also to dragon fly worms.. So I dunno le...

hi gigisakura,
to me, the worms is one thing, the shrimps dying is another. the 2 may be related.. but i doubt the worms are the cause of your shrimps dying.
for shrimps dying, most of the time its due to water quality issues. think in terms of water quality and how big the fluctuations are (if any).
expensive shrimps tend to be very sensitive due to excessive in breeding. so even small things like higher TDS and GH will cause problems.
my advice is, look at the shrimp dying thing first, then the worms...
what shrimps are you keeping?
I am balding but i am still young!
lol bro gigisakura i am having the white worms as well LOL... gonna go get vermex since my tank hasn't have any fishes or snails or shrimps yet
As mention above cherry shrimp n green.
Bee well I gt it at 10 for 10...
What is vermex?

cherry shrimps, i assume is red cherry shrimp.
green shrimp i assume its rilli shrimp
bee shrimp i assume is crystal black shrimp.
another assumption is that the tank is cycled and the shrimp is acclimatized before placing into tank.
if you want to keep all the above shrimp, i suggest you get a set of test kits for ammonia, TDS, GH, KH, PH, nitrates, nitrites and copper (optional, unless you stay in old flat old copper piping or new HDB with new copper piping). As well as an accurate thermometer.
once you have those, can test and post the results here.
